System Three shows early form in VSPL
System Three laid down the marker when the Vincy Soccer Premier League(VSPL) kicked off on Friday, January 30, 2026 at the Brighton Technical Centre.
Brushing aside BESCO- Pastures 7-2 was System Three’s statement to the other nine contenders seeking to become champions.
Braces from Azhino Solomon and Denzel Bascombe, along with single items from Cori Barbour, Zebeon Cunningham and Jahvin Sutherland secured System Three’s goals.
BESCO- Pastures’ goals were converted by Kendale Burke.
Also on opening night, Layou saw off Je Belle, 4-1. Mozranny Harry with two goals, and one each from Koby Mingot and Oryan Velox gave Layou the uncomplicated win. Mekeal Williams netted for Je Belle.
Action returned to the Brighton Technical Centre on Saturday, January 31, as North Leeward Predators squeezed past Bequia United, 3-2.
Diel Spring netted twice and Gavin Browne, once for North Leeward Predators, with Camal Bess and Mark Browne registering goals for Bequia United.
The first round of matches was completed on Sunday, February 1, at the same venue, but with fewer goals.
Avenues and Awesome played to a 1-1 draw. Amein John was Avenues’ goal scorer, and for Awesome, it was Kareem Williams.
Nyron Delpsesche scored for Hope International to see his team beat Camdonia Chelsea 1-0.
Round two kicks off tonight, February 6, 2026 with two anticipated sizzling clashes at Independence Park, formerly Victoria Park, Kingstown.
From 7:00 p.m, System Three opposes Je Belle, and from 9:00 p.m, the leeward derby unravels as Layou takes on North Leeward Predators.
And, on Sunday, February 8, three matches are scheduled.
There will be the Avenues and BESCO- Pastures duel from 3:30 p,m; with Bequia United and Hope International squaring off from 6:00 p.m; and from 8:00 p.m, Awesome will play Camdonia- Chelsea.
