Grammar School cops six medals at Barbados Track and Field Meet

The St Vincent Grammar School’s team to the 2026 Joseph Payne Memorial Classic held on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at the Usain Bolt Complex, returned with six medals: 2- gold, 2- silver and 2- bronze.

Ethan Kent and Evonte Nimblett, each secured two medals. Kent took gold in the Under-17 Long Jump and bronze in the Under-15 Shot Putt; while Nimblett won the Under-17 High Jump and pouched silver in the Long Jump.

The other medallists were Aaron Baisden who won silver in the Under-15 400m and Tyler Hercules, who took bronze in the Under-15 100m.

The all-male institution was also represented by Malique Maloney and Azari Horne, with Rawlson Morgan, the coach.
