VSPL kicks off tonight
FOOTBALL FANS AND lovers of sports will for the next six months be exposed to the best that St Vincent and the Grenadines has to offer, with the staging of the Vincy Soccer Premier League (VSPL).
The top flight Football tournament, which is part of the St Vincent and the Grenadines Football Federation’s National Club Championships kicks off tonight, January 30, 2026 at the Brighton Technical Centre.
A double header, featuring System Three and BESCO Pastures from 7:00 p.m, followed by the Je Belle versus Layou United clash from 9:00 p.m, will ignite the spark.
Then on Saturday, January 31, Bequia and North Leeward Predators face off from 3:30 p.m.
Two more matches are set for Sunday, February 1, 2026 when Awesome meets Avenues from 6:00 p.m and from 8:00 p.m, Camdonia- Chelsea meets Hope International.
The VSPL will span 45 days over a 90day period. All 10 Tier One clubs will play each another twice.
Apart from the Brighton Technical Centre, Independence Park (Victoria Park), and the Sir Vincent Beache Stadium will serve as venues for the tournament.
