Vincy Soccer Premier League promises more
THE VINCY SOCCER Premier League (VSPL), the flagship division of the St Vincent and the Grenadines Football Federation’s National Club Championships, promises to produce a better football product.
That is the main objective of the Local Organising Committee (LOC), the entity charged with the execution of the VSPL.
At an official launch of the VSPL, last Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at the SVGFF’s conference room, chair of the LOC, Roxell John said for the next six months, there will be improvements to football here in St Vincent and the Grenadines.
“The Local Organising Committee of the Vincy Soccer Premier League believes that this thrust to provide an improved product for our tier one clubs and football lovers in general will come across as one worthy of your support.”
John further revealed that players, clubs, and other stakeholders stand to benefit from the hosting of the VSPL.
“We endeavour to offer you a new and improved football product, one that should increase winnings for all clubs, daily awards to outstanding performers, a rigorous marketing and branding programme.”
He also pointed to the need to acknowledge and embrace change.
“Change and advancement are always welcomed words to the ear of progressive people and as Vincentians, a civilisation of purposefully evolving and progressive people, this is a period of change we gleefully embrace,” the LOC chair said.
Set to kick off on January 30, the VSPL consists of 10 clubs, playing two rounds of football, spanning 90 matches over a six-month period.
The clubs vying for supremacy are North Leeward Predators; Hope International; Layou; Camdonia- Chelsea; BESCO Pastures; Je Belle; Awesome; Avenues; System Three; and Bequia United.
