Vincentians gain two podium finishes at Barbados Junior Regatta

St Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG), earned a first place and a second place at the 2026 Barbados Sailing Week Junior Regatta, held on January 10 and 11, at Carlisle Bay, Barbados.

Representing St Vincent and the Grenadines were 13-year-old Joshua Weinhardt, and Kai Marks-Dasent, 15 years old.

Weinhardt claimed first place in the ILCA 4 fleet, while Marks-Dasent secured a second-place finish in the ILCA 6 fleet.

It was the second successive year that St Vincent and the Grenadines was represented at the Barbados Junior Regatta.
