Out Ah Trouble stays in charge in TBPO Softball cricket

It was another commanding display last weekend by Country Meet Town Out Ah Trouble, the defending champions of the National Lotteries Authority TBPO Softball Cricket Competition.

The gurus, who have so far played unbeaten in the competition, registered a 173 run win over Vinlec Power Stars last Sunday, July 20, 2025, at the Dauphine Playing Field.

Out Ah Trouble posted 250 for 5 in 15 overs with good scores coming from Jabarri Cunningham 52; Renrick Williams 50; Stein Joseph 39; Mikel Mapp 37; and Travis Cumberbatch 33 not out. Bowling for Vinlec Power Stars, Caven Bristol picked up 2 for 30. The power side, however, faltered in their reply scoring 77 all out in 15 overs. Caven Bristol scored 21.

Sunil Ambris 3 for 12; Sunil James 2 for 11; and Travis Cumberbatch 2 for 13, were Out Ah Trouble’s most successful bowlers.

Also on Sunday, Dr Thomas Injectors won from Gomea Bombers by 17 runs.

Injectors batted first and made 120 all out in 19.2 overs. Javon Nero hit 20.

For Gomea Bombers, Norlan Williams took 3 for 13, and Everton Durrant had 3 for 24.

Gomea Bombers’ response was 103 all out in 18.3 overs, Ovando O’Brian scoring 32, and Vennardo Primus, 20. For Injectors, Keymo Browne took 2 for 11, and Kevin Jack had 2 for 25.

In Sunday’s final match ,Young Stallions took down East Kingstown by 26 runs.

Young Stallions reached 215 for 9 from 20 overs led by Vincent Cupid’s 72, and support from Trevon Questelles, 39 not out; Bradley Richards and Denroy Hazel 23 each; and Jayvon Jack’s 22.

Bowling for East Kingstown, Alex Providence scalped 5 for 28; Javon Seales 2 for 33; and Otis Hector 2 for 46.

East Kingstown got to 189 for 9 in 20 overs. Javil Harry topped the batting with 49, and Elrico Patterson, 21. Carlton Baptiste picked up 3 for 46; Azmon Forbes 2 for 20; and Bradley Richards 2 for 30, bowling for Young Stallions.

When the weekend’s action got going on Saturday, July 19, Sion Hill Tallawahs defeated AIA Reload by 92 runs.

Sion Hill Tallawahs made 169 for 6 in 17 overs, with Shamic Roberts scoring 75 and Erwin Williams 30 not out.

For AIA Reload, Tyrone Smith picked up 3 for 36, and Zeron Harry 2 for 21.

AIA Reload reached 77 all out in 14.1 overs, Jerando Jardine scoring 37. Bowling for Tallawahs, Denson had Hoyte 2 for 5.

And in match two, Fairban United won by default from Older Boys who failed to show up with a full team.
