Young karatekas win medals in T&T Tournament

Liam Bollers and Darius Humphrey, of the Seishin Karate Dojo SVG, pouched gold and bronze respectively at the Kuro Obi Shotokan Karate Tournament held last Sunday, July 13, 2025, at the Five Rivers Secondary School, Trinidad and Tobago.

Bollers took gold in the Male advanced 8 to 10 kata category, while Humphrey’s bronze was achieved in the Male 12 to 14 advanced team bunkai.

Humphery teamed up with two Trinidadians as part of the team effort.

The Vincentian duo was coached by Adrian John, who lauded Bollers and Humphrey, noting that they gave a good account of themselves.
