Tier II Football title to be decided this Sunday

Who will win the 2024/2025 Tier II title in the St Vincent and the Grenadines Football Federation’s National Club Championships?

The answer will be known this Sunday, July 20, 2025 at the Brighton Playing Field, in the grand finale which kicks off at 8:00 p.m.

However, the two finalists must get over their semifinal humps.

The match-ups for the semi-final pit System Three versus Owia United from 6:00 p.m. and from 8:00 p.m, Bequia United takes on Volcanoes.

System Three and Owia United gained their berth on Wednesday, July 16.

It was all System Three in their quarter final match versus Parkside Rollers, as they won 4-1.

A brace from Aeron Collis in the 5th and 89th minutes, and single strikes by Azhino Solomon- 29th, and Zabeon Cunningham- 63rd , accounted for System Three’s tally.

Thomas Dommanic scored for Parkside Rollers in the 58th minute.

Owia United, though, had to rely on their accuracy from the penalty spot in their 4-2 win on penalties over Sparta, after both drew 4-4 in regulation time.

For Owia, Jason Baptiste scored in the 25th minute, De Nelson Nero- 29th, Beau Hoyte, the 35th, and Keevez Collis in the 61st .

Sparta’s goal came from Amron Thomas in the 13th minute, with Suenalli Richards netting in the

45th, and 45th +1, and Tyson Dalzell in the 90+ 1.

Before then, on Tuesday, July 15, Bequia United and Volcanoes advanced after two absorbing quarter finals.

Bequia United saw off Glenside Ball Blazers,in a come-from-behind 3-2 triumph.

Dorian Dallaway and Joneil Swift, scored in the 34th  and 38th  minutes respectively, as Ball Blazers went into the half in the ascendancy.

But Jermaine John in the 56th minute, Mark Browne, the 70th,  and Khade Gooding in the 82nd, crafted Bequia’s advancement.

Meanwhile, a hat trick from Je Quan Adams, and a single strike from Tyler Lewis, helped Volcanoes see off Richmond Hill United, 4-2.

Adams netted his goals in the 1st, 32nd,  and 90+ 3 minutes, with Lewis getting his in the 47th .

Richmond Hill’s goals came from Reynaud Mc Lean in the 45th  minute,  and Joeval Morgan in the 72nd.
