SVG Basketball Federation to host free Youth Summer Camps

The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Basketball Federation (SVGBF) will be hosting its 2025 Youth Summer Basketball Camps in three communities.

Funded by the St Vincent and the Grenadines National Olympic Committee (SVGNOC), the camps will take place in New Montrose, Langley Park and Petit Bordel in July and August, for boys and girls between the ages of 7 and 16 years, states a release from the SVGBF.

Under the theme REBOUND, the Federation this initiative aims to promote youth development through sport by teaching the fundamentals of basketball, as well as encourage teamwork, discipline and personal growth. All sessions will be led by qualified coaches and will have presentations by guest speakers who are committed to fostering a positive and engaging environment for all participants. The camp at New Montrose will run from July 21-25 at the Hard Court,from 9:30 a.m to 12:00 p.m. At Langley Park the camp will take place at the Hard Court on July 21 to 25,from 9;00 a.m to 11.30 a.m daily; while the third camp will be held at the Petit Bordel Hard Court from August 4-8, from 9:30 a.m- 11:30 a.m.

The Federation is encouraging parents and guardians to register early as space is limited.
