Two centuries highlight TBPO’s weekend Softball Cricket at Dauphine

Two centuries were the highlight of last weekend’s results in the 2025 National Lotteries Authority TBPO 20/20 Softball Cricket Competition at the Dauphine Playing Field.

First to hit triple figures was Romano Pierre who, on Saturday, June, 21, blasted 100 not out for Kombat Warriors against Older Boys.

Pierre was the mainstay in Kombat Warriors’ 119/ 3 from just 8.2 overs, in their response to Older Boys’ 117 all out in 18.5 overs.

Kombat Warriors won by seven wickets. In between Pierre’s onslaught, Mc Donald Simmons picked up 2 for 27.

When Older Boys batted, Joel Patterson’s 34 not out, was the top score. Donaldson Harry’s 2 for 6 was the best bowling figures for Kombat Warriors.

Saturday’s other fixtured match between Hill Top and East Kingstown saw no action because of a wet pitch.

Then on Sunday, June 22, Dr Thomas Injectors won by eight wickets over Young Stallions.

Young Stallions made 80 all out in 12 overs. Bradley Richards led with 37.

Bowling for Injectors, Tex Franklyn 3/ 12; Rokeem Roberts 2 /6; Javon Nero 2/ 12; and Kevin Jack 2/15.

Injectors replied with 84 for the loss of two wickets in 8. 3 overs. Amed Baptiste made 37 not out, and Rokeem Roberts contributed 27, not out

The weekend was crowned off with Andrew Glasgow’s 101 not out for Fairbaine United against Dauphine United.

Glasgow’s ton, and Bernard Bushay’s 30, helped their team to 182 for 3 from their 15 overs as the match was reduced because of rain.

In reply, Dauphine United reach 142 for 5, in 15 overs. Jwuan Laborde, 54, and Dee John 24 not out, were the principal batters.

Bowling for Fairbaine United, Dwayne Williams picked up 2 wickets for 17 runs.
