Quartet named for NACAC Age Group Championships

St Vincent and the Grenadines will be represented by four athletes- Naailah Stevenson, Christian Duncan, Ariel Stephens, and Kingaroy Hepburn- at the 2025 North American, Central American and Caribbean (NACAC) Under 13 and Under 15 Championships, to be held in Managua, Nicaragua, from July 4 to 6.

The athletes were selected after winning in their respective age groups, at the National Juvenile Championship held April 11 and 12, 2025, at the Diamond Track Facility.

Stevenson of IT DAT Academy, topped the Girls Under-13 category, tallying 1939 points, and Christian Duncan dominated in the Boys’ segment with a score of 2580.

Stephens and Hepburn, both of High Performance, scored 3078 and 4727 points respectively, to

top the Under-15 age group.

The Under- 13 Pentathlon will see the girls competing in the 60m, 800m, Long Jump, High Jump and Ball Throw, while the Boys will compete in the 60m, 1000m, Long Jump, High Jump and Ball Throw.

Meanwhile, the Girls Heptathlon will be the 80m, 1000m, 60m Hurdles, Long Jump, High Jump, Shot Putt and Ball Throw; while the Boys, have the 80m, 1200m, 80m Hurdles, Long Jump, High Jump, Shot Putt and Ball Throw to contend with.

Apart from the four named athletes, the St Vincent and the Grenadines delegation, includes Chester Morgan – Coach, and Kelisha Yorke – Manager.

They are set to leave St Vincent and the Grenadines on July, 3, and return on July, 7, 2025.
