Kombat Warriors take F15 Softball Cricket title again
Kombat Warriors claimed their third straight F15 softball title when they defeated Fairbaine United by seven wickets last Sunday, June 15, 2025, at the Richmond Hill Playing Field.
Choosing to bat after winning the toss, Fairbaine United made 62 all out from 14.5 overs. Tilran Harry led with 22.
Asif Hooper took 2 wickets for 10 runs; Romano Pierre picked up 2 for 11; and Donaldson Harry had 2 for 12.
Kombat Warriors made 66 for 3 from 6.5 overs. Renrick Williams contributed 20.
Before the grand finale, Dr Thomas Injectors easily won the third place, as their intended opponents, Marriaqua United failed to show up for the match.
For wining the title, Kombat Warriors pocketed $2,000.00 with Fairbaine United collecting $1,200.00 and Dr Thomas Injectors, $800.00
Kombat Warriors also earned themselves $300.00 for trumping the Frederick Trimmingham Super 5 title.
Tilron Harry of Fairbaine United scored the most runs- 178, while Tyrese Francis of Kentish Jacobs Prime Consulting Marriaqua took the most wickets- 10.
Accepting the award for scoring the most individual runs- 86, was Marriaqua’s Rokeem Roberts.
Asif Hooper of Kombat Warriors was the lone bowler to take a 5-wicket haul; and the youngest player was Shemiah Nanton of Marriaqua.
The competiton’s Most Valuable Player was Injectors’ Travis Cumberbatch, who took 10 wickets and scored 142 runs.
Adjudged to have taken the best catch was AIA Reload’s Jerando Jardine
