Vincy Heat battles Anguilla in World Cup Qualifier tomorrow
From 7:00 p.m, tomorrow, Wednesday, June 4, 2025, St Vincent and the Grenadines’ Senior Men’s Football team, Vincy Heat, will take on Anguilla in a Group F fixture of the Concacaf World Cup Qualifiers here at the Arnos Vale Playing Field.
Vincy Heat is fresh from two wins and a draw in warm up matches against regional opponents.
On May 20, Vincy Heat outplayed St Kitts and Nevis 3-1 on the Kittians’ home patch, and in the reverse fixture at the Chili Playing Field, in SVG five days later, the Vincentians won 3-0.
Then, last Thursday, May 29, Vincy Heat had to settle for a 1-1 draw with the British Virgin Islands at the Arnos Vale venue.
Following tomorrow’s encounter with Anguilla, Vincy Heat jets off to Puerto Rico to face the host in their final Group F match on June 10.
The last occasion that St Vincent and the Grenadines faced Anguilla was in 2014, with the Vincentians coming away victors 4-0.
