Out Ah Trouble stays in charge
Defending champions of the National Lotteries Authority TBPO Softball Cricket Title, Country Meet Town Out Ah Trouble, added their second win of the 2025 edition with a commanding 137 runs win over Gomea Bombers last Sunday, May, 25, 2025 at the Dauphine Playing Field.
Out Ah Trouble rattled up 215 for 8 in 20 overs. Davian Barnum, 38; Renrick Williams, 37; Mikel Mapp, 33; Stein Joseph, 30; and Richie Richards, 22.
Bowling for Gomea Bombers, Lavell Miller picked up 2 /28, and Vernardo Primus 2 /34.
Sunil James 3/15, Richie Richards 3 /28, Kenron Williams 2/ 26, then unravelled Gomea Bombers’ reply, dismantling their batting for 78 all out in 15.5 overs. Ovando O’ Brien led with 39.
Also on Sunday, Dr Thomas Injectors defeated Vinlec Power Stars by three wickets. Vinlec Power Stars made 87 all out in 13.4 overs. Lawson Mason led the score with 37.
For Injectors, Kevin Jack bagged 4 wickets for 10, as they responded with 88/7 in 11.4 overs. Wendell Corridon made 32, and Tex Franklyn 24, as Gideon Richards picked off 2/37.
In match three on Sunday, Kombat Warriors rolled over Sion Hill Tallawahs by 10 wickets.
Tallawahs managed 73 all out in 11.4 overs. Shamic Roberts 27 and Shawn Williams 20 not out were the main scorers.
Bowling for Kombat Warriors, Romano Pierre had 4/11.
Pierre then hit 50 not out, and Marcus Hackshaw, 24 not out as Kombat Warriors took 4. 5 overs to reach 75 without loss.
When the matches began on Saturday, there were wins for Fairbaine United and Greiggs Young Stars.
Fairbaine United defeated AIA Reload by 76 runs in a match reduced to 16 overs because of time.
Batting first, Fairbaine United scored 186/ 4 in 16 overs. Andrew Glasgow 76 not out, and Jerremy Haywood 60 stood out, while Jerando Jardine took 2/42 bowling for AIA Reload.
In reply, AIA Reload made 110 all out in 13.1 overs; Ian-j Gonsalves top scored with 54.
For Fairbaine United, Christon Williams took 4/21 and Antonio Barker 3/29.
And, Greiggs Young Stars overcame Older Boys by 72 runs in a duel between the ages.
Greiggs Young Stars scored 139/ 9 in 15 overs. The trio of Zivon Walker, Delon Woodley and Ozander Baptiste posted 28 apiece.
Bowling for Older Boy, Wilfred Bascombe scalped 4/ 32.
Older Boys replied with 67 all out in 13.4 overs; Curtis King top scored with 19.
Adamski Matthews 2/ 3 ,and Emroy James 2/ 15, were the pick of the bowlers for Greiggs Young Stars.
