Repeat winners in National Table Tennis Championships

THERE WERE SEVERAL repeat winners when the 2024 St Vincent and the Grenadines Table Tennis Association National Table Tennis Championships concluded last Saturday, August 3, 2024 at the West St George Secondary School.

Leading the way was Damion Dublin who made five straight titles in the Men’s Open, when he defeated Sean Stanley 12/10, 11/5, 14/12, 11/6. Oran-Jay Williams maintained his hold on the Boys Under-13 reign when he got the better of Keron Huggins 11/9, 11/7 in their decider.

Likewise, Loukhya Premraj retained the Girls Under-13 and Under-15 titles, as she whipped Kiara Michael in both finals.

In the Cadet Boys Under-15, Lamont Gregg retained the title beating Macahlie Hazelwood 12/10, 11/9, 10/12, 11/9. Similarly, in the Junior Boys Under-19 final, Caleb Howard retained his title, ousting Lamont Gregg 11/6, 11/5, 7/11, 11/4.

And, JD’s Table Tennis Club remained as Teams champion. Premraj was voted the most outstanding female player of the championships and Lamont Gregg the most outstanding male.
