Olympic Week gets going this Sunday

The St Vincent and the Grenadines Olympic Committee (SVGOC), will begin its activities to mark the 2024 Olympic Week this Sunday June 16, 2024.

The week commences with a church service at the New Testament Church of God, Lodge Village, starting at 9:00 a.m.

On Thursday June 20, beginning at 6:00 p.m, at Olympic House, Villa Point, is an in-house knock out Domino Tournament, among affiliates. The aim of the tournament is to foster camaraderie among affiliates, as the compete for attractive prizes.

The Week of Activities culminates on Sunday June 23,2024, with the staging of the Olympic Day Run and Triathlon from the Layou Waterfront.

The Triathlon involves Swimming, Cycling and Running. The day’s activities will end with a demonstration at the Layou Hard Court by members of the SVG Volleyball Association.
