Vincy Heat takes on Suriname in Concacaf Group F encounter Wednesday

The Senior Men’s National Football team Vincy Heat, are preparing to do battle against Suriname tomorrow, Wednesday June 5, 2024, in their Concacaf Group F World Cup fixture. The team departed the Argyle International Airport (AIA) on Friday May 31, 2024 for Suriname via Trinidad and Tobago in what the St Vincent and the Grenadines Football Federation (SVGFF), referred to as “a display of unwavering determination and national pride”.

This encounter is not just another match on the calendar, it is a crucial step in the team’s journey toward the apex of international football, the Federation said in a release.

Following their encounter with the home team, the visitors will take on El Salvador in their second game versus El Salvador on Sunday June 9, 2024, also in Suriname. The team comprises mainly young players untested in international competition. A five member official party led by SVGFF president, Otashie Spring, is due to leave today, June 4, 2024, for Suriname to witness Vincy Heat’s two encounters.
