The St Vincent and the Grenadines Under-20 Male 4 x 100m record, is now in the hands of Timothy Williams, Keo Davis, J’ Mar Saunders and AJ Deplesche.

The quartet rewrote Team Athletics SVG’s books on Sunday night, March 31, 2024, when they clocked 41.29s at the Kirani James Athletics Stadium, at the 51st Carifta Games.

The St Vincent and the Grenadines unit ended in fifth place, beaten by Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica, Grenada and Antigua and Barbuda in that order.

Most significantly, in the process, they beat the 41.60s, set in 2019 by Malik Ferdinand, Trivis Fraser, Krisroy Williams and Romar Stapleton.

The setting of the new record at this year’s Carifta Games was one of the most significant accomplishments of the 19 -member St Vincent and the Grenadines team that participated in the three- day championships from March 30 to April 1.
