Vincentian-born Kimani Stewart-Baynes was selected with the No. 4 overall pick by the Colorado Rapids in the 2024 Major League Soccer SuperDraft Tuesday, December 19, 2023.

An 18-year-old striker, Stewart Baynes is the son of Kenny Baynes and Asha Stewart, who are also Vincentians.

From a sporting family, Stewart– Baynes is also the brother of N’ Keal Harry, a wide receiver who plays in the National Football League (NFL), with the Minnesota Vikings, as well as Khamal Stewart– Baynes , a track athlete for the University of Miami.

Kimani Stewart-Baynes spent part of his youth career in Toronto, Ontario, with Vaughan Soccer Club.

A MLS College participant in 2023, Kimani Stewart- Baynes was named Big Ten Freshman of the Year, made the Big Ten All-Freshman team, as well as the Top Drawer Soccer Freshman Best XI Second Team, all in 2023.
