Sion Hill Tallawahs retain TBPO Softball Cricket title
Sion Hill Tallawahs retained the National Lotteries Authority TBPO Softball Cricket 20/20 title with a seven-wicket win over Bank of SVG All Stars last Sunday, December 10, at the Dauphine Playing Field.
All Stars made 151/7 from 20 overs; Elton Williams 29 not out, Lenroy Danzell 27, Roderick John 26 and Kody Horne 21.
Bowling for Sion Hill Tallawahs, Shamic Roberts had 3/19 and Kerwin Williams 3/25.
In reply Sion Hill Tallawahs reached 153/ 3 in 16.1 overs.
Kirton Lavia 41 not out, Zaniel Baptiste 35, Erwin Williams 22 not out, Shamic Roberts -20, all combined to attain the target.
Prior to the final, Country Meet Town claimed the third spot, with a nine wicket win over Kombat Warriors.
Scores: 85/5 from 10 overs; Out Ah Trouble- 86/1 from 6.3 overs. Sunil Ambris- 47 not out.

Out Ah Trouble’s Jabarri Cunningham scored the most runs – 394 and was the player of the tournament, while Nkosi Toby of AIA Reload and Courtney McDonald of BOSVG All Stars, shared the most wickets – 13. Mc Dowald was also named Best all-rounder.
The most disciplined team was Young Stallions and the most disciplined player- Winston Patterson of Clinchers.
