RSVG Police still Masters Cricket champions

RSVG Police retained the SVG Masters T/20 title, without breaking a sweat, after North East forfeited the finals at the Sion Hill Playing Field last Sunday November 26, citing the unpreparedness of the pitch.

The two had reached the finals, following wins the previous day, as RSVG Police had overcome Stanley Browne Stubbs and North East had defeated 007 Sports Bar P’tani.

Romel Currency of P’tani scored the most runs – 319 and was the MVP of the competition. Currency lashed a century and had three half centuries to his name.

Currency, along with team mate Norlan Williams, along with Salvan Browne of RSVG Police and Uzzah Pope of Stubbs Masters were the centurions.

Emron Lorraine of North East took the most wickets – 16, while Basil Andrews of Stubbs was the lone bowler to take a hat trick, versus Civil and Architectural Solutions Park Hill.

For winning the title, RSVG Police collected a trophy, $1500, along with Log Enterprises products, while North East earned a trophy, $1000 and Log Enterprises products.
