Texiera Road retains Layou Football title

Texiera Road beat Cashville 3-1 last Sunday, October 15, to retain their hold on the St Vincent and the Grenadines Football Federation’s Layou Football Village League.

A brace from Koby Maingot and a single strike from Romario Dennie, gave Texiera Road the ascendancy. Myron Samuel replied for Cashville.

In the third place play off that preceded the final, Buccament came from behind to beat Plan , 2-1.

Kirton Jordan scored both items for Buccament, with Savvy Harry netting for Plan.

The other participating teams were Parsha, Layou Under-17, Masters and Jam Rock.

The presentation and closing ceremony which takes place this Sunday, October 22, will officially close the 2023 edition.
