Deptor Culzac keeps the winnings at home

After having to ride in the shadows of his son, Gabriel for the previous two events, Deptor Culzac took charge last Sunday, June, 4, in the 30 -mile road race, staged by the St Vincent and the Grenadines Cycling Union.

It was the elder Culzac who finally gained bragging rights, as he crossed the finish line in the vicinity of Rent and Drive at Arnos Vale, with a 1:37. 20.81 clocking.

Second was Antonio Richardson in 1:17.25.82. Completing the top three was Gabriel Culzac in 1: 37.33.37.

The two other cyclists to complete the event were Steve Ollivierre in 1: 38.55.53; and Rivas Young, who registered 1:49.24.67.

The next event on the Cycling Union’s calendar is the national championships set for June, 17- the Time Trial, and June 18, a Road Race.
