Vincentian wins British Army Squash titles

Vincentian, Mikal Quammie has added more squash titles to his list and is seeking more.

A member of the British Army, Quammie took the Royal Engineers Men’s Open title on February 25, as well as the Under- 25 segment, to make him double champion.

Quammie, who has represented St Vincent and the Grenadines at the junior and senior levels, both at the OECS and the wider Caribbean Area Squash Association(CASA), has been using his skills to good effect as he makes an imprint on the armed forces.

He has an opportunity to increase his status as one of the top Under-25 players when he defends his title at the Army Individual Championships set for March 21-23.

Quammie emerged as champion in his first outing at the 2022 edition of the championships.
