SVGTA stages Heroes Invitational

Nakaeda Caine, Chrish Puga, Loukiyah Premraj Nathanel Lawrence , and Tahj Ballantyne, emerged as winners of titles in the KFC Heroes Tennis Invitational which ended last Sunday, March 12 at the National Tennis Centre at Villa.

Caine was crowned Girls Under-10 champion having defeated Amaia Waterstone 5-4 in the final.

Taking the Boys Under-10 was Puga, whose 4-1 win over Zayden Charles, landed him the title.

In the Under-14 age group, Premaj beat Zede Griffith 6-2 to claim the Girls title, and Lawrence trumped 8-0 over Matthew Clarke, to win the Boys’ segment.

And, Ballantyne overcame Sebastien Cyrus, 6-3, 6-4, to take the Male Open.

The three day tournament formed part of the St Vincent and the Grenadines Tennis Association’s 2023 calendar.
