Police Youth Clubs inaugural Netball competition begins this Sunday
The Royal St Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force will be staging its inaugural Netball Championship for Police Youth Clubs (PYC) from this weekend.
The police said in a release that the Inter-club Netball competition will open on Sunday, March 12 at the Arnos Vale Sports Complex starting at 2:30 p.m.
The competition is designed to foster friendly rivalry among police youth clubs while showcasing their sporting abilities, the release added.
Commissioner of Police, Colin John; National coordinator of the Police Youth Clubs, sergeant Stephen Billy; and sponsors will make remarks, while the Minister of Sports, Frederick Stephenson will deliver the keynote address.
The opening will culminate with an exhibition match. The competition will begin also on Sunday with five matches.
