Team Athletics SVG, is wasting no time in getting its 2023 calendar up and running. This Saturday, January 7, will thus see the staging of a Development Meet set for the Diamond track at the Sir Vincent Beache Stadium beginning at 2:00 p.m.

There will be competition in the 7 and Under age group; Under-9; Under- 11; Under- 13; Under- 15; Under- 17; Under-20; Open category; as well as Veterans .

The categories are open to both male and female competitors.

Events to be contested are the 100m, 200, 400m and 800m for all categories; while Under-15 and upwards will compete in the Long Jump and Shot Putt.

At tomorrow’s event, athletes can either compete for their club, team, school or do so unattached.
