HP stands out at James Cordice/ X- Ceed pre-season relay

It was another fluent effort for the High Performance (HP) Track and Field Club at the inaugural staging of the James Cordice/ X- Ceed pre-season relay last Saturday, December 10, at the Diamond Track.

Underlining their predominance in the sport here, HP claimed eight of the 14 events contested.

Among HP’s triumphs were the Mixed Open 4 x 250m in 2:08.81; the Men’s 4 x 150m with a 1:07.91 clocking; the Under-17 Boys 4 x 300m which was done in 2:32.25; and the Women’s Distance Relay, completed in 7:36.72.

Additionally, HP was first in the Women’s 4 x 150m Open, done in 1:21.19; the Under-17 Boys 4 x 150m in 1:22.05; the Under-17 Girls 4 x 500m, stopping the clock at 6:08. 81; and the Women’s 4 x 300m Open in 3:07.12.

Meanwhile, X- Cel Track Club ran away with the Men’s 4 x 300m Open in 2:25.65; the Men’s 4 x 500m Open in 4:39.36; and the Men’s Open Distance Medley Relay in the time of 6:01.33.

They were followed by the St Vincent Grammar School Track Club, who took the Under-17 Boys 4 x 150m in 1:09.01; and the Under-17 Boys 4 x 500m in 4:51.00.

The IT DAT Academy titled the Under-17 Girls 4 x 300m with a 2:56.98 clocking.

The other competing clubs were the X- Ceed Sports Club, ROSES Academy and the Mustangs.
