Bequia United and Je Belle reach U-15 Final

Bequia United and Je Belle will clash in the final of the St Vincent and the Grenadines Football Federation’s Under-15 tournament, following semi- final victories last Saturday, August 27, at the Brighton Playing Field.

In the first semi- final, Bequia United registered a 3- nil win over System Three.

Tevez Telemaque scored all three goals; and Je Belle saw off SV United 2- nil, via a brace from the boot of Tarique Small.

The final is set for a date to be announed, also at the Brighton Playing Field.

Looking ahead of the much anticipated clash, Bequia United ‘s Head Coach, Ralph Stowe said that they are prepared.

“ Our coaching staff would have looked at some areas and will be working on them ahead of the final”, Stowe commented.

He noted that his current crop of players mainly constitutes the winning unit of the 209 National Under-13 competition, hence there is continuity.

“ We are looking forward to the final and obviously we are hoping to win, but if we don’t we would have done enough to get to the final”, Stowe said.

And Manager of Je Belle, Cartwright Franklyn also expressed confidence going into the final.

“ In the semi- finals, there were some key players missing and with them in, I am very confident of winning”, Franklyn projected.
