KSL President yet to be decided

Who will be the president of the revived administrative arm of the Kingstown Soccer League (KSL)?

The answer will be known when affiliates go at it again on Monday, August 29, at a special meeting set for the St Vincent and the Grenadines Football Federation’s Conference Room, beginning at 6 pm.

This, after three rounds of voting last Saturday at the Methodist Church Hall in Kingstown, both Maxim James and Camillo Samuel were locked on six votes on each occasion.

In addition, affiliates had exhausted all available ballots for the position, and had vouched they would not be budging nor swayed, so it was decided to have another run-off.

However, this was not the case with the other positions. There was no such stalemate and drama, as Keith Duncan was voted as vice- president, defeating Samora Ralph, 9-3.

In the race for treasurer, Jessica Miller got the nod over Latisha Holder, 8-4, while Crystel Huggins beat Raymond Trimmingham, 11-1, as the two vied for the post of committee member.

The KSL is one of the oldest organized football leagues here in St Vincent and the Grenadines, but had gone through a period of dormancy, before a concerted efforts to have it functional again were made within the last three years.
