Four year old Vincentian shines at St Lucia invitational swim meet

Young Vincentian swimmer, four year old Raya Adams took the spotlight when she copped the 6 and Under title at the Rodney Heights Aquatic Centre (RHAC)Invitational Swim Championships in St Lucia from April 6-10. The petite Adams who represented the Blue Marlins Swim Club, received high praise as she defeated others who are older than she. She is said to have received loud applause from those who were at the RHAC venue.

But that was not all for the Adams family, as Belle Adams, Raya’s elder sister, claimed the Girls 9 to 10 individual title.

More success came the Blue Marlins’ way, as Tru Matthias and Tayeah St Hillaire returned double accolades.

Matthias ended at the top of the table in the Boys 7 to 8 age category and took the 8 and Under Sprint Challenge title too.

And, St Hillaire pouched the Girls 11-12 title, as well as the Girls 9- 12 Sprint Challenge trophy.
