She was part of a West Indies 30- member training squad in May of last year in Antigua, then gained a place in the first ever West Indies A team that played against Pakistan A last July, also in Antigua.

Apart from Glasgow, the West Indies team includes two other newcomers in Kaysia Schultz, and Mandy Mangru, whilst Afy Fletcher returns from a maternity lay off.

The players and officials arrived in South Africa last Sunday and will undergo a training camp before engaging a South Africa XI on January 25.

The four One Day Internationals are set for January 28 and 31; February 3 and 6 .
