The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Cricket Association Inc. (SVGCA Inc.) recently handed over cheques to the tune $10 000 to three organisations, in response to the fallouts caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, and the explosive eruptions of La Soufriere volcano.

The recipients of the generous donations by the national cricket body, were the Rotary Club of St Vincent, the Lions Club South and the Rise Up OTR, which stands for Over The River.

The two service clubs each received $4,000, while Rise Up OTR, which is a group from north of the Rabacca Dry River, collected $2,000.

The latest donations, follow previous relief efforts of the SVGCA Inc. which provided supplies to a number of displaced cricketers and their families immediately after the eruptions of La Soufriere volcano, which began on April 9.

Thus far, the total amount of relief donations made by the SVGCA Inc. is $23,000
