Strike Eagles double as national T/20 bowls off

STRIKE EAGLES soared high, winning their two matches last Sunday at the Stubbs Playing Field, as this year’s SVG Cricket Association Inc. Neil Williams T/20 cricket competition bowled off on the weekend.

Strike Eagles gave Dominic Sutherland Lloyd Lewis Memorial Cricket Team , a baptism of fire, beating them by six wickets, at the Stubbs Playing Field Dominic Sutherland Lloyd Lewis Memorial Cricket Team rallied to 110/ 7 in 18 overs. Ricky King led with 32. Keyan Dowers 2 / 16 and Adrian Stapleton 2/ 20, were the pick of Strike Eagles’ batting.

Ozico Williams topscored with 40 and Keyan Dowers- 30 not out, as Strike Eagles responded with 111/4 from 14.5 overs.

Staying at the same venue, Strike Eagles swooped down on Vee Jays Roof Top and Bar North Windward., devouring them by 106 runs.

Strike Eagles, on the back of Ozico Williams’ 63 from 37 balls and Joey Liverpool’s 36, posted 176 all out from their 20 overs.

Jemouth Brackin took 3/ 36 for North Windward, who were then bundled out for 70 in 13.1 overs. Devon Charles bagged 5 / 14 , as Strike Eagles made it two from two.
