Bequia XI stays unbeaten in national first division cricket

KEEGAN’S BEQUIA XI continued on their winning path as they beat Radcliffe Two on Sunday at the Arnos Vale Two Playing Field, in Group A of the National Lotteries Authority first division national cricket programme.

Bequia XI scored 212 in 37.1 overs. Cosmus Hachshaw scored 46 and Jarell Edwards, 42.

Bowling for Radcliffe Two, Kyle Bobb took 4 for 25.

Radcliffe Two was bowled out for 134 in 28.4 overs, with Webster Roban scoring 31.

Iran Mack picked off 4 for 28 and Chelson Stowe, 3 for 21, as Bequia XI won by 78 runs.

At Stubbs, Smashers stalled Vee Jay’s Roof Top and Bar North Windward by three wickets.

North Windward got to 165 in 27.3 overs. Veno Da Souza scored 53.

Javid Harry had figiures of 4 for 48 and Darren Russell, 4 for 53, for Smashers, who replied with 166 for 7 from 20 overs.

Kirton Lavia’s 64 was the topscore for Smashers.

Phillip Baptiste took 3 for 39 for North Windward.

And at Buccament, Police One had a 121-run win over St Vincent Distillers Glamorgan.

Parnel Browne, with 65, led Police One to 235 all out in 36.5 overs. Adolphus Campbell picked off 3 for 36 and Enrique Grant, 3 for 58.

Glamorgan scored 114 all out in 26.2 overs. Gerald Gould grabbed 3 for 15, Vertil Davis, 3 for 24 and Parnel Browne, 3 for 31, bowling for the law enforcers.
