SJCK’s past students assist students

A CHEQUE FOR $500 was presented to the St Joseph’s Convent Kingstown, last Friday, as a donation from the school’s Past Students Association.

The monies though, will have a specific purpose, as it is to assist a few students who have difficulty with meals or transportation.

Ingrid Foyle-Samuel, president of the St Joseph’s Convent Past Students Association, in handing over the cheque to Sister Martha on behalf of the school, related that they were happy to come to the assistance of those students.

“We know that some students come to school who would need such assistance one way or the other, so we are making this small presentation this morning for that purpose,” Foyle- Samuel highlighted.

Foyle-Samuel reiterated her organisation’s intention to continue to assist their alma mater in ways possible.
