Medical Schools Combined lead SVGCC’s invitational basketball
The Medical Schools Combined, have gone two from two in the Quickcorp St Vincent and the Grenadines Community College invitational basketball tournament.
The medics first antidote was adminstered on last year’s champions RSVG Police Youth Club, tranquilising them 35-31.
Then, the medical students returned to the Arnos Vale Netball Complex, last Friday, to take apart Blue Chip Basketball Academy, 36-31.
Blue Chip Basketball Academy had got off to a good start, when they registered a 53-26 triumph over the Division of Teacher Education.
In a ding-dong battle, the Division of Teacher Education overcame the Division of Arts, Sciences and General Studies 40- 36.
But yet to record a win have been, the Division of Technical and Vocation Education, who have lost both matches thus far.
The Division of Arts, Sciences and General Studies swished the Division of Technical and Vocational Education 45- 41 and RSVG Police Youth Club beat the Division of Technical and Vocational Education, 41- 30.
Today, February 4, round three will take place.
From 1:20 p.m., the Division of Teacher Education meet the Division of Technical and Vocational Education. The Division of Arts, Sciences and General Studies will try to stop the Medical Schools Combined when they do battle from 2:30 p.m., then the RSVG Police Youth Club lock horns with the BlueChip Basketball Academy from 3:30 p.m.
