Bequia footballers awarded
Footballers who stood out during the 2019 Bequia football tournament, were last Friday night compensated at a presentation and awards ceremony, staged at the Clive Tanis Playing Field.
Awards were presented for the four divisions: Under-10, Under-13, Under-17 and the senior Zonal championships.

Among the Under-10 awardees was Rayne Duncan of Olympic Youths, who was adjudged the most improved player; Luke Duncan of Future Stars- most goals and Damian Lewis of Combine Youths- best goal keeper.
The award for most improved player in the Under-13 division was attained by Odain Hazell of Future Stars; most goals – Damian Miller of Young Stars and best goal keeper was Royal Boatswain of Young Stars.
Meanwhile, the lone individual award in the Under-17 division went to Marlon Simmons, who was the top goal scorer, with seven goals.
In the Zonal championships, Derek Peniston of West, scored the most goals and the best goal keeper was Shemar Quashie.

Future Stars won the Under-10 league and knock out titles; while in the Under-13, Future Stars took the league, and Young Stars- the knock out.
West won the Under-17 as well as the Zonal championships.
