Three Vincentian athletes last Saturday at the Barbados National Stadium, combined to pouch five medals at the 2020 hosting of the Joseph Payne Memorial Classis Athletic Championships.

Ulanda Lewis and Nellie Ambriton, earned themselves two medals each, with Amal Glasgow accounting for the other.

Lewis, a double bronze medallist at the 2019 Junior Carifta Games in the Cayman Islands, won gold in the Girls’ Under-17 100m and secured a silver in the Under-20 200m.

Lewis’ winning time in the 100m, was 12.19 seconds, while she stopped the clock in the 200m, at 24.86 seconds.
