Twin brothers double up in Biabou softball

TWIN BROTHERS- Erwin and Kerwin Williams, starred with both bat and ball last Sunday at the Biabou Playing Field, to lead Hard Hitters to a convincing 125 runs win over Nice Radio Clinchers, in the Biabou 20/20 softball cricket competition.

Erwin smashed 5 fours and 14 sixes, in his 116, and Kerwin struck 2 fours and 5 sixes, in 62, as Hard Hitters piled on 204/2 from their 20 overs.

Clinchers in reply made 79 all out in 12 overs; Okeiph Andrews- 30 and Oheyon Toby-22.

Kerwin Williams picked off 4/16 and Erwin Williams had 2/10.

Also trumping on Sunday, was Sion Hill Tallawahs, which got past Top Notch by four runs.

Sion Hill Tallawahs- 90 all out in 13.1 overs. Hasely Roberts led with 27.

Bowling for Top Notch, Hollis John had 3/10; Hermus Garrick- 3/18 and Israel Baptiste- 2/5.

Top Notch’s response stopped at 86/9 from their 20 overs. Hermus Garrick hit 21, while Omarie Sutherland took 4/5 and Shem Laborde- 2/27.

On Saturday, Bank of SVG All Stars defeated Jackson Trading One Team by 47 runs, in a match reduced to 15 overs, because of a late start.

All Stars made 106/4 from their allotment. Asquith Mapp- 26, Kelian Julian – 24 and Earl Pope-22.

One Team was dismissed for 59 in 12.2 overs; Lass Haywood- 22. Earl Pope grabbed 3/12 and Kelique Samuel- 2/6.

Saturday’s other match was decided by the default route, as OTR Strikers did not show up for their encounter with Gairy’s Construction Simple Boyz.
