System 3 inks Breakaway small side football title

The System 3 clan, inked another football title, when their team one representatives clutched the first ever SVG Football Federation/ SVG Brewery/ Breakaway masters six-a-side competition, which was staged last week Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Grammar School Playing Field.

Matched up against Je Belle in last Sunday night’s final, System 3 team one needed only a single goal, winning one-nil, to be crowned inaugural champions.

Their unbeaten run earned System 3 team one the winner’s trophy and $500, along with beverages from the St Vincent Brewery.

Je Belle got a trophy, $300 plus beverages, while third place BESCO-Pastures collected a trophy, $200 and beverages.

Apart from the top three, the others which contested for honours were Largo Height, RSVG Police, Sion Hill, System 3 team two, Hope International, Volcanoes teams one and two, Richmond Hill and Avenues United.
