Shammon Hooper slams first division double century

Shammon Hooper slammed 211 for Jules Anthony North Leeward versus North Windward Youths, at the Sion Hill Playing Field last Sunday in the National Lotteries Authority First Division.

Hooper struck 19 fours and 11 sixes, as North Leeward amassed 346 for 7 from 45 overs.

Bowling for North Windward Youths, Emron Lorraine took 2 for 63 and Jemmoth Brackin, 2 for 65.

North Windward Youths were dismissed for 114. Desron Lavia scored 40.

Maxwald Edwards took 3 for 13, Shammon Hooper, 3 for 14 and Shangi John, 2 for 17, bowling for North Leeward, who won by 232 runs.

At the Stubbs Playing Field, Victors Two bundled over Combined Youths by seven wickets.

Combined Youths were sent packing at 29 for 9 in 13.1 overs. Deswayne Williams grabbed 4 for 10, Luke Wilson, 3 for 7, and Kishore Shallow, 2 for 4.

Victors Two replied with 32 for 3. Dexter Whinfield took 2 for 10.

And, at Arnos Vale Two, Keegan’s Bequia XI overpowered St Vincent Distillers Glamorgan by six wickets.

Augustus Mofford topscored with 36, as Glamorgan made 89. For Keegan’s Bequia XI, Chelson Stowe took 4 for 12.

In response, Keegan’s Bequia XI made 90 for 4 in 8.2 overs. Olanzo Bellingy scored 35.

Chlesea Ottley picked up 2 for 24, bowling for Glamorgan.
