Police Force get ping pong equipment donation

A table tennis board, a gross of table tennis balls and a net have been handed over to the Royal St Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force, compliments the St Vincent and the Grenadines Table Tennis Association.

The handing over of the equipment, which took place last Tuesday at the Old Montrose Police Station, forms part of the SVGTTA’s thrust to have table tennis being played in every school and community in St Vincent and the Grenadines.

President of the SVGTTA- Orville Haslam told SEARCHLIGHT that the intent is to make table tennis a lot more visible in the country.

Haslam said that the SVGTTA is on a path of revival of the sport.

In past years, the RSVG Police Force team was once a formidable unit in table tennis tournament put on by the SVGTTA.
