JG Tigress on course for women’s cricket title
JG Tigress continued their winning ways when the St Vincent and the Grenadines Cricket Association Inc. womenâs 40-over cricket competition continued last Saturday.
Facing Radcliffe Girls at the Stubbs Playing Field, JG Tigress had an uncomplicated nine-wicket triumph.
Radcliffe Girls were dismissed for 42. Rochelle John had 3 for 1 and Ronelia Fergus, 3 for 10.
Glendeen Turtin led JG Tigressâ reply of 43 for 1, scoring 17 not out.
At the Park Hill Playing Field, defending champions United Survivors registered a 72-run win over Super Strikers.
Cordel Jack stroked 51 and Shevern Clarke, 39 not out, as United Survivors posted 153 for 4 from 25 overs, as the match was reduced because of rain.
Super Strikers fell for 81. Juliana Nero scored 26 and Keisha Nero, 21.
Bowling for United Survivors, Allison Antoine picked off 5 for 8.
