System Three Sports, Bequia United to travel for CFU Club Championships

The reset groupings and fixtures for St Vincent and the Grenadines’ two representatives in the Caribbean Football Union’s CONCACAF Club Championships – System Three Sports Academy and Bequia United – have been released.

When the groups were reconfigured because of the debarment of Guyana’s duo of Slingerz and Alpha United, System Three were placed to welcome Guadeloupe’s CS Moulien, Flames United of St Maarten and Trinidad and Tobago’s San Juan Jabloteh in Group E, while Bequia United is grouped alongside Antigua and Barbuda’s Green Bay Hoppers, Racing of Haiti and MoengoTapoe of Suriname.

System Three Sports Academy will host Group E at the Victoria Park, March 8-12.

System Three open their campaign with CS Moulien on March 8, while their match up with Flames United is March 10 and two days later, versus San Juan Jabloteh.

Bequia United will travel to Antigua and Barbuda for their first taste of this type of competition, which will be settled February 22 to 26.

Bequia United’s schedule in Group A sees them facing Hoppers, Racing Moengo Tapoe in that order, February, 22, 24 and 26, respectively.

The other hosts are Haiti, Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago.

Group B set for Haiti March 1- 5, hosts Unite Sainte Rosierre of Guadeloupe, Police of Montserrat, Cibao of the Dominican Republic and Haiti’s Don Bosco.

Montego Bay United hosts Group C, also March 1 to 5.

Antigua and Barbuda’s Grenades, Elite of the Cayman Islands and Barcelona Atletico of the Dominican Republic, complement Montego Bay United for Group honours.

And, Trinidad and Tobago’s Central FC, the Cayman Islands’ Scholars International, Transvaal of Suriname and Portmore of Jamaica, make up Group D, set for determination March 8-12.
