The titles in the primary as well as the junior and senior brackets were decided on Friday, December 9 at the Kingstown Netball Centre, but there was not the usual handing over of awards at that venue.
But despite the no-show of recipients last Friday at the Victoria Park, master of ceremonies Earl Bennett painstakingly went through the awards list, doing so to an almost empty venue.
The trophy table bore awards for the three competitions.
Du Bois/Buccament Government took first place in the primary category, with Owia Government â second and Fancy Government â third.
The junior division winner was the Troumaca Ontario; second was Barrouallie Secondary and the Girlsâ High School placed third.
Winning the senior division was the Bethel High School, ahead of Barrouallie Secondary and third was the Sandy Bay Secondary.
There were two other awards which were announced by Bennett, which were the most valuable players of the junior and senior finals.
Copping the MVP in the junior final was Troumaca Ontarioâs Tisheka John, while Azubah Delpesche of the Barroaullie Secondary was adjudged the senior finalâs MVP.
The zonal winners in the junior division were the Georgetown Secondary â Zone A and the Barrouallie Secondary â Zone B.
Barrouallie Secondary ended on top in Zone B of the senior competition, with the Sandy Bay Secondary copping Zone A.(RT)
