Road tennis for Nine Mornings

The Ministry of Tourism, Sport and Culture, in conjunction with the Professional Road Tennis Association (PRTA) of Barbados will be hosting an Inaugural Nine Mornings Road Tennis Blast from Friday, December 16 to Friday, December 23, in various communities through the country. The activities will commence at 3 a.m. each morning.{{more}}

The men and women will be competing for a grand prize of US$1,000 each, while the male youth (under 18) will be competing for some attractive prizes, such as tablets and cellular phones.

The proposed programme as activities is as follows:

Friday, December 16 Kingstown – NLA Triangle 3 a.m.

Saturday, December 17 Leeward – Barrouallie 3 a.m.

Monday, December 19 Windward – Langley Park School yard 3 a.m.

Tuesday, December 20 PRTA Demonstration – Bequia 5 a.m.

Wednesday, December 21 – Quarter & Semi-finals NLA Triangle 3 a.m.

Thursday, December 22 – PRTA Demonstration Stubbs 5 a.m.

Friday, December 23 Final – NLA Triangle 3 a.m.

Registration forms are available at the Division of Physical Education and Sports, 1st Floor, Methodist Church Building, Granby Street.

Persons wishing to participate at the various locations should note that registration closes on the following dates: Kingstown: Thursday, 15th December, 2016 at 4 p.m; Langley Park: Monday, 19th December, 2016 at 4 p.m; Barrouallie: Friday, 16th December, 2016 at 4 p.m.
