SVGCC’s top netballers rewarded

The 2016 East Caribbean Group of Companies (ECGC) SVG Community College Inter Divisional Netball Competition came to an end last Friday, and in the prize-giving ceremony that followed, Britney Medica of Year One Arts, Sciences and General Studies received the Best Shooter Award; Akira Samuel of Division of Teacher Education Team One was voted the Best Defensive Player; Macey Deshong of Year One Arts, Sciences and General Studies got the Best Mid-Court Player Award; and Zomora Fraser, the MVP of the Final Award.{{more}}

Year One Technical and Vocational Education were adjudged the Most Disciplined Team.

The organizers also recognized personnel from two media houses for their support and coverage of the College’s sporting competitions over the last two years.

Recipients of these awards were Justin Douglas of BDS Nice Radio and Rohan Thomas of the SEARCHLIGHT Newspaper.
