Greiggs Softball Cricket Competition rolls on
Bruce Law Chambers Inc Smashers defeated Snipers Reload on a faster scoring rate in one of four matches completed in the latest round of matches in the Hairoun Brewery, Sea Operations Nar Fren Dem Greiggs 20/20 Softball Cricket Competition, hosted at the Greiggs Central Playing Field.
Smashers scored 148 all out in 19.5 overs; Luke Thomas made 41.
Snipers Reloaded were 19 for 6 wickets in 6.5 overs, as St Clair Dickson took 3/8.{{more}}
Also, Nice Radio Clinchers registered a 55-run win over Warriors.
Clinchers batted first and made 112 for 5 in their 20 overs, led by Desron Springâs top score of 40. Danwayne Baptiste took 2/19 and Junan Baptiste â 2/24, bowling for Warriors.
In response, Warriors were bowled out for 58 in 11.3 overs, as Marlon Farrell grabbed 4/19 and Oheyon Toby 3/13.
Joining in the winnerâs list was Combine Sixerz, who finished 123 runs better than Log Enterprise Supreme Strikers.
Combine Sixerz rushed to 163 for 7 wickets in their 15 overs. Andrew Glasgow top scored with 50, while Handel Antoine had 2/23.
Supreme Strikers though, could not cope with the bowling of Davian Barnum, who grabbed 5/9, and were dismissed for 41.
And Fancy outplayed Caesarâs Defenders by three wickets in a low scoring affair.
Caesarâs Defenders scored 43 all out in 13.5 overs. Bowling for Fancy, Kanhi Mack took 4/12.
Fancy made heavy weather of the reply, but managed to cross the line at 44 for 7 in 16 overs. Steve Bristol took 3/7, bowling for Caesarâs Defenders.(RT)
