ECGC sponsors Swim Stars Swimming Club

aLast weekend, the SVG Amateur Swimming Association hosted a swim meet, which saw various clubs participating in a series of events.

The East Caribbean Group of Companies (ECGC) was the sponsor of one such club, called the Swim Stars Swimming Club.{{more}} The club is based in North Leeward, with the aim of giving underprivileged children an opportunity to participate in swim meets and showcase their swimming skills.

The group consists of 28 persons, aged 5 to 18 and was formed by Teran Matthews, a former national swimmer. The company contributed to the tune of $2,000.
